Boss Program

Revcord provides an installation service program where you are the BOSS! The BOSS program provides for a remote OR onsite software installation process. This service is extremely useful for technicians especially in remote locations. It also ensures the customer is getting every feature out of Revcord’s technology possible.


The process is in line with with Revcord’s philosophy: simplicity and ease of use. Revcord will provide a hardware checklist and a pre-installation survey to the dealer or customer to be completed and returned. Once the Recording Equipment is physically installed either through the onsite BOSS Premium Program or by the Vendor providing installation services, a Revcord engineer will remotely configure the Revcord Recording Equipment and its software per customer specifications.

The base install will have a minimum charge which covers the first 16 channels of any analog, digital, or VoIP system. There is a small additional fee per channel after the first 16. Additionally, BOSS Installation is recommended but not required. Should a customer elect to decline BOSS Service or not adhere to BOSS instructions or requests for information additional charges may apply.

RevShield Evergreen Program

Effective 9/1/2017 all new Revcord Logging Recorder systems purchased include 24/7 Help Desk Support, 24/7 System Monitoring, and Software upgrades for one year from the date of purchase in addition to a limited five year hardware warranty. Please see the Revcord Warranty Statement and the RevShield Service Level Agreement for additional details.

Upgrade options are avaialble to transition your current RevShield coverage to the Evergreen Program. Contact Revcord for additional details.

Revcord offers three RevShield Evergreen Service and Support options for years two and beyond.

(Please note that Revcord works through our Dealer Channel to assist in support and will refer support calls from the End User in that scenario.)

  • RSPLUSEG: The Evergreen standard service and support coverage provides 24/7 Help Desk Support, 24/7 System Monitoring, and all Revcord Software Upgrades for systems subject to the RevShield program terms and conditions.
  • RSPLUSEG24: In addition to the service and support coverage provided by RSPLUSEG, the customer will receive onsite service with a next day response for systems subject to the RevShield program terms and conditions.
  • RSPLUSEG4: In addition to the service and support coverage provided by RSPLUSEG, the customer will receive onsite service with a four hour response for systems subject to the RevShield program terms and conditions.
